Write to [email protected]. There is no contact form on this site on purpose: a form means a database, and a database of reader messages means one more place your words are stored. Email keeps the record in one place, yours and ours.

Expect a reply within a few working days. Corrections that come with a bar number, a key, or a record title get answered first, because those are the ones that can be checked.

What is useful to send

Anything that is factually wrong is worth a message. So is anything that is unclear in a way you think is our fault rather than yours. What is not useful: pitches for guest posts, link exchanges, and requests to add a product to a list.

• A bar count that contradicts the structure strip on the page
• A rhyme scheme labeled with the wrong letters
• A chord degree that does not follow from the key named at the top
• A claim about how a specific record is built, with the timestamp

Rights and reuse

The words on this site are ours. Short quotations with a link back are welcome and do not need permission. Wholesale republication does, and is usually declined. The structure strips are generated from the bar data in each entry and may be reused alongside a quotation.

No lyrics by other writers are reproduced anywhere on this site. Where an entry discusses a specific record it describes the structure and does not reprint the words.
